Praveen was born in Davanagere, Karnataka, India.

Praveen has qualifications in Bachelor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Nursing.

Prior moving to Darwin, Praveen was employed in his Alma Mater, Manipal academy of higher education (MAHE) as an Assistant Lecturer in Department of Physiotherapy. Praveen was instrumental in establishing and developing a network for Community based rehabilitation programs for undergraduate and post graduate students of Physiotherapy and allied health stream.

Praveen obtained his Bachelor of Nursing from Charles Darwin University (CDU) and has worked extensively as a Mental health nurse with the NT, ACT and NSW Govts. Praveen also has work experience as a Dementia Consultant with Dementia Support Australia (DSA) covering aged cares across ACT, NSW, SA and Victoria.

Praveen has been employed at TCASS™ since early 2006, initially as a support worker, transitioning to a T/L position. Praveen also has extensive work experience with other organisations, both Govt and NGO’s in and around Darwin assisting people living with dual diagnosis and challenging behaviors.

Praveen is currently employed at TCASS™ as a Clinical operations coordinator.
